Watch created in the mid-1950s to supply a special order from the Egyptian Navy. Even larger than the classic Radiomir, it featured a tonneau-shaped case, 50mm in diameter, structurally very different from the original model and with a wide, rotating bezel with 5-minute markers. The back is fastened with six screws and the crown is protected with the characteristic Panerai trademark lever device. All the details of the case were made using anti-magnetic steel and entirely created at Officine Panerai, even the screws were made in-house. Angelus hand-wound mechanical movement with hours, minutes, seconds functions. The power reserve is 8 days, and this feature makes the crown sealing gasket much more resistant over time. The type of construction used and the sizes of the various components made the watch practically indestructible.
