"THE RADIOMIR, ONE OF THE ICONS OF INTERNATIONAL HAUTE HORLOGERIE."
"RADIOMIR MODELS represents a tribute to the history of Panerai and to the watch which has constituted a milestone in the history of professional diver’s watchmaking. The characteristics of modern Radiomir watches are descended from the prototype created in 1936 to equip the commandos of the Royal Italian Navy: The cushion case, the slender wire strap attachments, the conical crown and the simple dial reduced to essentials to increase legibility even in conditions of poor light. "
"The ceramic used in Radiomir cases is a high-tech zirconium oxide powder (ZrO2) containing 3% binder and colouring pigments. This high-tech ceramic has many advantages, such as extreme hardness and long-term resistance against wear and corrosion."
