On its path to reduce its impact on climate change, Panerai invests seriously to reduce the emissions of all its worldwide buildings.
The building that houses Panerai operations sets the tone for the environmentally conscious practices within. Spanning over 10,000 m2, the building is designed with a zero-fossil policy. It's heated and cooled down using 36 geothermic sensors and a heat-pump, energy produced by air compression machines is reused and 10 solar panels have been installed to harness the sun’s power. All electrical energy consumed, totaling 1.8 GWh per year, is entirely sourced from green hydro-electric power.
But that’s not all. Rainwater is collected in a 150,000 litre tank to water the garden.
