Das P.9100/R ist ein automatisches Chronographenwerk mit integrierter Countdown-Funktion, die bei Regatten von entscheidender Bedeutung ist. Der Flyback-Chronograph mit vertikaler Kupplung und Schaltrad ermöglicht es dem Benutzer, die Zeit vor einem Ereignis zu messen, indem er den Drücker auf der 4-Uhr-Position betätigt, um den Countdown zu starten. Der Minutenzeiger wird pro Klick um eine Minute zurückgesetzt. Der START-Drücker auf der 10-Uhr-Position aktiviert die Chronographenzeiger und gewährleistet dadurch eine genaue Zeitmessung ab dem Start der Segelregatta.
