Panerai brings to light a new mechanical value, enhancing the Manufacture heritage & know-how: a new timepiece with 10 Days of power reserve, enriching the Luminor Complicazioni line. The long power reserve was introduced to meet the strict requirements of the commandos of the Italian Navy who had to rely on an instrument of complete and enduring reliability. In the early 1960s, Panerai used a 16-ligne Angelus calibre, which would run for eight days. The long power reserve is one of Panerai’s most distinctive features that significantly reduced the mis manipulation on the crown as the watch needed to rewound only one per week.
