Engineered for PRECISION
With a diameter of 16½ lignes, this large calibre draws inspiration from historic Panerai models, ensuring exceptional legibility on a large dial. Its construction resembles a three-quarter plate movement, with a large bridge alongside a smaller one covering most mechanical parts. This setup is secured by thick screws, creating a rigid structure that enhances shock resistance. The balance wheel is notably large (13.2 mm) and features a variable inertia design, with four adjusting screws arranged externally around the ring, allowing the rate to be regulated without needing to remove the entire assembly. Two spring barrels are connected in a series of long, thin springs to deliver a more consistent force over time, resulting in improved chronometry and precision, with a power reserve of three days.
