Characteristics
The Galileo Luna Scheletrato movement is customized according to the geographical coordinates chosen by the client. The skeletonized design allows for a clear view of the intricate mechanics, including a tourbillon that ensures precise timekeeping. The watch features a calendar with a month indicator at the 3 o’clock position and a GMT function to display a second time zone. The sunrise and sunset indicators are set according to the client's specified coordinates and are connected to home time. The equation of time indicator shows the difference between solar and standard time. On the back of the watch, a moon phase with a day and night indicator is depicted using two rotating discs. The upper disc features sun and stars marking daytime and nighttime. A small window in the starry sky reveals the moon on the lower disc, which changes shape daily according to the lunar cycle. Additionally, the power reserve indicator provides a visual representation of the remaining energy.
