This year, in occasion of the 37^th America’s Cup, this partnership strengthen further. In the waters of Barcelona, Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team battled fiercely, overcoming the Louis Vuitton Cup’s Double Round Robin tournament and Semi-Finals – hold against US NYYC American Magic, French Orient Express, Swiss Alinghi Red Bull Racing and UK Ineos Britannia teams – qualifying for the Finals and ultimately losing against the British racing syndicate. The Italian crew thrilled spectators with their breath-taking performances, a testament to their passionate determination, powerful resilience and unwavering dedication. Panerai supported the challenges of these Modern Heroes by providing technical timekeeping instruments, engineered and tested for the toughest conditions to guarantee durability, reliability and functionality in every step of the competition. The timepieces, part of the latest Submersible Luna Rossa collection, draw inspiration from the technologies and materials used in the America’s Cup and developed according to the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team’s requirements, working hand-in-hand with the crew itself.
