A natural successor to the historic diver's watch conceived at the beginning of the 1950s, inspired by the name of the luminescent substance that replaced Radiomir after the Second World War, the Luminor Marina PAM01312 marks another stage in a constant process of evolution.
The next-generation high-performance Super-LumiNova™, selected by the Panerai Laboratorio di Idee, stands out for its green luminescence, a coloration that evokes the brand's origins, and the black sandwich dial exhibits classic Panerai style: large numerals at the cardinal points, bar hour makers, the small seconds dial – with a blue hand – at 9 o’clock and the date window at 3 o’clock.
Luminor Marina PAM01312, equipped with a three-day power reserve, distinguishes itself with the P.9010 automatic movement of only 6 mm thickness, much thinner than previous models. The Panerai Manufacture in Neuchâtel, which is noted for its reliability and precision, designed and developed the movement in its entirety.
Water-resistant up to 30 bar (about 300 meters), the Luminor Marina features an alligator leather strap with a brushed steel pin buckle and an additional black rubber strap in the storage box.
