Situated in the heart of Florence where the brand was born, facing the impressive Duomo, Officine Panerai’s historic boutique, features a unique design and an outstanding façade, with four stately windows. For this major renovation, Officine Panerai collaborated with Patricia Urquiola, the celebrated Spanish designer, who reinterpreted the aesthetic and technical codes of the Florentine brand, while respecting its identity and remaining faithful to the concept of a workshop. The boutique features Italian characteristic elements: the walnut wood furnishes the ceiling and the showcases; the floor is covered of “striato olimpico” marble, recalling the geometrical patterns of Duomo’s façade. As a recurrent element in the new Panerai boutiques, Urquiola has also chosen brass, echoing to the world of the sea and ships. With more than 285 square meters, the boutique also proposes a space dedicated to special sales on the 1st floor, a dedicated area for temporary exhibitions of the Historic Museum’s timepieces; and on the ground floor, a watchmaker is at the client’s disposal to carry out repairs and to share its passion with Panerai enthusiasts.
