THE DEPTH OF THE SEA IN THE NEW RADIOMIR MEDITERRANEO EDITION – RETAIL EXCLUSIVE
With the new collection of Radiomir Mediterraneo edition watches, available exclusively in our boutiques throughout the world, Panerai invites an exploration of the thousand shades of the blue of the sea, applied to the dial by an exclusive manufacturing process
The reflections of light which penetrate the depths of the sea create a chromatic spectacle. Indeed no other colour has the power to evoke the infinite in the way that blue does, through its natural association with the sea and through the innumerable evocative tones it can assume.
Thanks to the use of various shades of blue, the Radiomir Mediterraneo edition dial is tinged in such a way that the outer part is darker, more intense colour corresponding to the markers, which thus appear even more legible, and lighter towards the centre.
The new Radiomir – 45mm (PAM01078) is fitted with the automatic P.4000 mechanical calibre, with 3 days of power reserve. A movement entirely designed and developed in the Panerai Manufacture at Neuchâtel.
The light and strong case is made of brushed titanium.
The new Radiomir – 42mm (PAM01144) is fitted with the hand-wound P.1000 mechanical calibre, with 3 days of power reserve. A movement entirely designed and developed by Panerai.
The case is made of AISI 316L polished steel.
On the back of the case of each reference, an original piece of workmanship reveals a glimpse of the movement through a swirling design recalling the waves of the sea, created by a metallisation process carried out on the sapphire glass of the back.
Both watches are water-resistant to 10 bar (a depth of about 100 metres) and are fitted with a blue alligator strap, which goes perfectly with the colour of the dial, and its contrasting beige sewing recalls the colour of the luminous substance used on the hour markers.
