Equation of Time P.2002/E

The Equation of Time is the difference between the time shown by the watch and solar time. Four days per year, these two times coincide, on the other days, they differ by up to 15 minutes – denoted by a linear indicator at 6 o’clock. With a power reserve of 8 days it has the characteristic peculiar to the calibre P.2002: great structural strength; three spring barrels (historically patented); GMT function with 24 hour indicator; seconds reset device; rapid adjustment of local time; date display.

Annual Calendar P.9010/AC

The Annual Calendar allows to display the complete date with a minimal setting. Day, date, and month are clearly displayed with Panerai's distinctive readability, thanks to a system of instantaneous and jumping discs. The current month is shown on an external moving disc, which automatically adjusts for 30-day and 31-day months, needing manual adjustment only at the end of February. The 'Quick Change of Time' function allows the hour hand to move in one-hour increments without affecting the minute hand or timekeeping.

Perpetual Calendar P.4100

The Perpetual Calendar is a sophisticated complication that automatically adjusts the day and date of each month while recognizing leap years. Powered by dual barrels for a three-day power reserve, the movement uses an off-center micro-rotor and operates at 4 Hz, measuring only 7mm thick. The minimalist dial displays minutes, hours, day, date, GMT, and seconds. The reverse shows the power reserve indicator and perpetual calendar details month, year, and leap year for complete readability.

Skeleton Automatic P.4001/S

The Skeleton Automatic construction is a tribute to Panerai's craftsmanship, a fully skeletonized mechanical movement featuring an off-center micro-rotor, revealing its intricate inner workings. The result is a watch with openwork that reveals the movement and complexity of the calibre. The patented transparent polarized date disc shows the date at 3 o'clock without obstructing the underlying components. The movement also includes a bidirectional micro-rotor that winds two barrels in series for a three-day power reserve.

Tourbillon P.2005/T

The Tourbillon P.2005/T is crafted from titanium with skeletonized bridges and plates for a lighter overall weight. It has a power reserve of six days, achieved through three spring barrels connected in series. The skeletonized design allows for a clear view of the movement's intricate details, such as the innovative patented Panerai Tourbillon, where the cage rotates on an axis perpendicular to that of the balance wheel and it makes a complete rotation in thirty seconds. This special system allows it to compensate effectively for the errors due to the force of gravity, enhancing timekeeping accuracy.

Tourbillon P.2015/T

The Tourbillon P.2015/T, introduced in 2023, is a new movement with dimensions designed to suit a wider range of wrist sizes. It incorporates Panerai’s innovative Tourbillon, patented in 2008 where the cage rotates on an axis perpendicular to that of the balance wheel and it makes a complete rotation in thirty seconds. This special system allows it to compensate effectively for the errors due to the force of gravity, enhancing timekeeping accuracy. With a power reserve of up to four days, it includes a GMT function indicated by a central arrow hand and a 24-hour counter at the 3 o’clock position, which features a daynight indicator.

Astronomo P.2005/GLS

The Astronomo movement, according to the geographical coordinates, is customized by the client. The skeletonized design allows for a clear view of the intricate mechanics, including a tourbillon that ensures precise timekeeping. The watch features a calendar with a month indicator at the 3 o’clock position and a GMT function to display a second time zone. The sunrise and sunset indicators are set according to the client's specified coordinates, connected to home time. The equation of time indicator shows the difference between solar and standard time. On the back, a moon phase with a day and night indicator is depicted using two rotating discs.

Minute Repeater P.2005/MR

The Minute Repeater features a tourbillon regulator and a double-minute repeater mechanism that chimes on demand and according to the customer's choice. It includes three gongs and hammers that produce a distinctive sound. The movement uses monoblock gongs that are complex but offer better sound transmission, as they are fixed to both the movement and the case. To prevent mishandling, the watch incorporates four security mechanisms within the movement specially constructed for optimized resonance.
