Ouverture de la Casa Panerai de Paris

Nous sommes ravis d'accueillir les visiteurs dans notre nouvelle Casa Panerai à Paris, située au 120 avenue des Champs-Élysées, qui renforce notre présence dans la capitale française. Située dans un bâtiment historique datant de 1862, il s’agit de notre plus grande boutique en France, avec une superficie de plus de 200 m². Elle a fait l’objet d'une rénovation et d’une restauration méticuleuse, alliant savamment charme historique et éléments modernes. Cette fusion crée un espace qui honore son passé tout en s’inscrivant dans le présent.

 

Lieu permettant aux clients et aux passionnés de s'immerger dans notre univers, cette boutique est pensée pour être une maison, où chaque visiteur devient partie intégrante de notre histoire, dans une atmosphère qui marie tradition et innovation. Grâce à ses caractéristiques et à ses éléments de design restaurés, elle offre un espace dynamique pour interagir et découvrir notre héritage.

 

Dans une approche originale, nos vitrines sont dépourvues d’articles afin d'encourager l'exploration et la découverte. Dès leur arrivée, les clients bénéficient d'une attention personnalisée, les guidant tout au long de leur parcours dans l'une des cinq suites exclusives. Ces espaces comprennent une section destinée aux clients VIP, dotée d’un décor élégant inspiré de la mer, et un espace héritage pour ceux qui s'intéressent à notre riche passé, mettant en avant des garde-temps historiques et des étapes importantes.

 

Le parcours dans notre boutique comprend un récit visuel composé de brevets et de publicités d'époque encadrés, placés le long de l'escalier menant à une section musée au premier étage. Cet espace spécial présente les pièces les plus historiques de notre collection, retraçant notre parcours depuis les premiers jours jusqu'à aujourd'hui.

 

Afin de marquer l'ouverture de ce lieu important, nous avons lancé une montre en édition spéciale dotée d’un cadran vert, la PAM01364, qui fait partie de la collection Radiomir Annual Calendar.

Panerai opens the doors to a new Casa Panerai in Milan

Casa Panerai lands in Milan's prestigious Montenapoleone district, officially opening its doors on 9th of November. Spanning 220 square meters, a significant leap from its previous 120 square meters, the new space embodies all the distinctive pillars of our Maison in watchmaking excellence with an Italian spirit.

 

Upon entering, guests are greeted in a welcoming area, designed for those who seek quick services including strap changing or information on products. The boutique's highlight, a state-of-the-art digital wall, offers an immersive digital journey through the world of Panerai, showcasing its products, manufacturing process, and distinctive experiences.

 

The second floor introduces the Salotto Milanese, an embodiment of Italian charm and Milanese sophistication. Bar Italiano complements this space, providing a relaxed environment for guests to enjoy a coffee or savor a quintessential Milanese aperitif.

 

True to our roots, we’ve designed a heritage area for aficionados to dive into the brand's storied past, featuring historical timepieces and a timeline that narrates Panerai's significant milestones. The high-end area awaits those eager to explore Panerai's complications and movements, offering a glimpse into the brand's exceptional craftsmanship and innovative spirit.

 

For the collectors, a special Collector Corner has been curated, displaying rare vintage pieces and serving as a hub for the diverse Panerai communities, while an exclusive VIP area provides a secluded setting for top clients to engage in a ‘touch and feel’ session, ensuring privacy and an uninterrupted Panerai experience.

 

To commemorate the opening, we unveiled a special edition timepiece, PAM02319 Luminor Marina Milan Edition – available in 319 pieces – in reference to the address of this space.

Unique Radiomir Guido Panerai & Figlio Creation scored a Remarkable Price at Phillips

A new chapter was etched in the pages of watchmaking history on November 3rd as the one-of-a-kind Radiomir Guido Panerai & Figlio timepiece was sold at a notable final price at Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo, during The Geneva Watch Auction: XVIII at La Réserve Genève. This 1-of-1 model, a peculiar reinterpretation of Panerai's emblematic Radiomir, captivated bidders and fetched a record sum of 355.600 CHF, highlighting its historical value.

"We witnessed an incredible moment at the auction in Geneva, as watch enthusiasts and collectors acknowledged the heritage encapsulated in the Radiomir Guido Panerai & Figlio", stated Jean-Marc Pontroué, CEO of Panerai. "The remarkable sale price affirms the timepiece's worth and is also a nod to Panerai's dedication to preserving our rich history while relentlessly pushing boundaries in watchmaking expertise". The Radiomir Guido Panerai & Figlio is an slice of Panerai's maritime history and Italian legacy. Inspired by the legendary Angelus caliber of the 1960s Ref. 3646 modified, this exclusive watch houses a very rare historical example of the Angelus SF240 movement, with a Glucydur® balance wheel, the very same deployed in Panerai’s watches 62 years ago. A caliber, specifically built for G. Panerai e Figlio, whose manufacturing dates back to June 1961 as evidenced by the original engraving on the movement’s plate.

Its distinctive features pay homage to the Brand's timeless design ethos and pioneering spirit. Enclosed in a 47mm cushion shape casing - made of Panerai Platinumtech™ - the timepiece presents a conical screwed crown and solid welded lugs. Through the domed sapphire crystal, a sandwich dial emerges bearing the Officine Panerai inscription and the Marina Militare logo paired with gold-coloured hands and small seconds at the 9-hour mark.

The auction's success punctuates a significant milestone for Panerai, marking its strength in the horological world. This event also signifies the synergy of the collaboration between Panerai and Phillips, united in a celebration of heritage, watchmaking expertise and the appeal of exclusive collectibles.

All the proceeds, including the entirety of Phillips’ Buyer’s Premium will benefit the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO (IOC-UNESCO) strengthening the partnership to develop ocean literacy activities as part of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030).
