Luminor PAM01732 revisits Panerai’s historic Destro configuration, developed to support the operational needs of military divers. By positioning the crown protective bridge on the left side of the case, the watch could be worn on the right wrist, leaving the diver’s dominant hand free to operate essential instruments such as a compass or depth gauge. This purposeful design reflects Panerai’s longstanding approach to watchmaking, where functionality shaped every element. Reinterpreting this archival configuration in a contemporary 44 mm format, PAM01732 preserves the spirit of those professional instruments while adapting their distinctive character for modern wear.
