Easy Setting and Correction
The Luminor Perpetual Calendar simplifies time-setting with an intuitive adjustment system, allowing the wearer to modify the day, date, month, and year directly via the crown. Unlike traditional perpetual calendars that require specialized tools, this system ensures effortless corrections, even across month transitions. The forward and backward adjustment capability eliminates restrictions, and the patented date shock protection system prevents errors caused by sudden impacts.
GMT With 12 and 24-Hours Indicators
The dual-time functionality enhances its utility for global travellers. The 12-hour and 24-hour indicators operate independently, ensuring clarity when tracking time zones. The dedicated 24-hour sub-dial at 9 o’clock offers a precise reference, while the centrally mounted GMT hand provides an intuitive second-time zone display. The adjustment system enables quick time zone changes, allowing the local time to be set without affecting the running seconds or date.
Seconds Reset
When the crown is pulled out, the balance wheel and seconds hand halt, allowing for exact time-setting down to the second. This feature is particularly useful when coordinating with an official time source. Unlike conventional mechanisms, the P.4100 calibre includes a double balance bridge for enhanced stability. By reinforcing the movement’s resilience, this system guarantees precision in all conditions.

Engineered for PRECISION
An automatic movement with Perpetual Calendar and GMT functions. With intuitive adjustments made through the crown, changing the day, date, month, and year is exceptionally easy, requiring no tools or correctors and with no restrictions. The date can be adjusted in both directions, either forwards or backwards, further simplifying the setting process. Powered by dual barrels for a three-day power reserve, the movement uses an off-center micro-rotor and operates at 4 Hz, measuring only 7 mm thick. The minimalist dial displays minutes, hours, day, date, GMT, and seconds. The reverse shows the power reserve indicator and perpetual calendar details—month, year, and leap year—for complete readability.
3-Day Power Reserve
The P.4100 caliber offers an impressive three-day automatic power reserve. This extended autonomy ensures the movement maintains optimal performance even when unworn for several days. The energy is stored in two barrels, allowing for a steady release of power while preserving the accuracy of the timekeeping functions.
Off-Centered Gold Micro Rotor
The off-centered gold micro-rotor is a sophisticated feature designed for maximum efficiency. Crafted from 22-carat gold, this rotor ensures smooth and continuous winding while maintaining a slimmer movement profile. Positioned asymmetrically, the micro-rotor allows for a more compact movement, improving ergonomics while preserving energy efficiency.
Power Reserve With Disc on the Back
The power reserve indicator, positioned on the caseback, provides a clear visual reference for the remaining energy levels. Displayed through an engraved rotating disk, this system allows the wearer to monitor the movement’s power reserve without disrupting the dial’s clean aesthetic. By integrating this feature into the back of the watch, Panerai enhances usability while maintaining the refined simplicity of the dial.
Date Shock Protection
Designed to prevent misalignment caused by sudden impacts, this patented date shock protection system maintains accuracy and eliminates the risk of skipping or shifting numerals.
